Utrecht, Monday 14 May 2007 - Evelop International has taken a controlling interest in Seinen Projectontwikkeling (Seinen), an innovative Dutch real estate project developer.

Seinen develops affordable, low-energy housing that provides a healthy, comfortable living environment. Seinen has won several awards for its approach to combining low-energy building and renovation projects with financial products, so that these can also be affordable for low-income households.

The Econcern group has been cooperating with Seinen for several years. Its project development activities will be integrated into Evelop International BV, as part of a new Evelop Real Estate & Energy Infra department.
