Wind farm FUJIFILM
Wind farm FUJIFILM
The site

On the industrial site of FUJIFILM in the industrial area Vossenberg, at the west side of Tilburg Evelop plans to construct 5 wind turbines. By positioning the wind turbines on locations in the area which otherwise would remain unused, multiple space use is promoted. The project is expected to encourage the development of similar projects in Vossenberg industrial area.
Unique about this project is that the energy generated by the turbines will be delivered directly to FUJIFILM. This ensures an optimal use of the generated power since the loss of energy as a result of transportation is limited to a minimum. Once complete, the wind farm will provide up to 15% of the energy consumption of the company's production plant.

Contribution Evelop
End 2008 Evelop signed an agreement with FUJIFILM Tilburg for the development of a corporate wind farm. FUJIFILM chose Evelop over other companies for its proven knowledge in integrating wind farms in a complex industrial environment. Evelop has full ownership over this project and will construct, finance and technically and commercially manage the project, in collaboration with FUJIFILM.

Planning
In 2010 Evelop and FUJI expect to have obtained all necessary permits and start the financing phase. In 2011 construction is planned to start production by the end of 2011- 2012.
